That looks awesome. Guessing not capable of deep water start though? Looks like they stayed pretty close to shore the whole time and both starts were a skim start. Wonder what it'll cost? Gotta be as much or more than a jet ski, but if you can control it yourself it would be worth it. Seems like it would work well for wakeskating, wonder if it would pull a wakeboarder over a kicker when laying into a cut or if you butt checked a landing. Very cool concept though.

Has any experienced wake boarder on here ever just ridden behind a boat without jumping wakes? Of course not because it sucks.

People are constantly trying to solve wakeboarding problems that don't exist. Search wakeboarding on Youtube. The first 20 or so results are people wakeboarding behind cruise ships, on trash can lids, behind jet skis and Ferraris .... You have to get pretty deep before you find anything with real wakeboarding in it unless you qualify your search parameters. People need to quit trying to fix wakeboarding. It's perfectly fine the way it is. Sure it's expensive but so are all of the "solutions".

You mad bro? hahaha
Fairly certain this video was meant as a novelty -> the thread name was intended to be satire at least lol

Kiteboarders have had a ton of success without having a wake, pulling double flips, Moby dick 7s & backmobe 5s. Not being tied down to a boat allows them to hit spots that would only be accessible by winch to us.

While this drone is nowhere near strong enough to hold the line tension necessary for air tricks, eventually someone will make one that is.

Anyone on here that thinks this is stupid, lame, or would be boring is way to "hardcore" for their own good.

As soon as I saw the section of video above with the rider being followed by the boat on the side I was thinking of the old wake kites. The rider could use the boat wake to get booted.

YOOOO
that's too funny, what was it like 2 weeks?

Wish the edit showed the rider doing some more tricks lol Front to blind would've been perfect

I'd like to see how big that thing is. It's hard to tell from the video, but you'd think it would be pretty large to give you lift like a kite.

If you watch the 2nd video the one on the trailer is wider than the car is, looks about DOUBLE width! Company also has a video where it lifts 220lbs.
