I want to move my battery's under the observers seat. Right now these wires are only long enough to reach the factory location. What is the best way (without running new cables) to extend my factory 2gauge power and ground wires? I've seen large 1/0 and 2awg gold butt connectors or should I use a breaker style connector (with two bolts) without the breaker for the ground. Thanks for your help.

Either of those approaches would work, but i would just replace them.

You need to replace them. When you make them longer the 2AWG will no longer be adequate. This is not an area to skimp. Run 1/0 all the way from starter/block to battery.

This is the best source I know:

Where do the other two sets of + & - wires start or come from on a VLX?

The Ground goes up under the dash to a grounding block and the positive goes to the side panel for the fuse panel.
