I have a Calabria Pro V and I have to fold the tower down when I put it away. The way the tower speaker tubing runs through the tubing, I have a plug on the port side of the boat, about 24" above the boat. The plug is starting to fall apart and needs to be replaced. Anybody know of a good plug that would work? I was thinking of using the GM style weather-pack connectors.

If I am understanding the question right, look at the neutrik speakon stx series plug and receptacles. Depending on how many wires and if you want solder on connection would depend on the part number.

Guess I should have posted a couple pics. The blue circle is where the wire comes from the boat and goes to the tower. The red circle is the plug that I have to undo everytime I fold the tower. That plug is starting to fail.

Take a look a the Neutrik Connectors. That's what I used and most kits use. Worked great. Look to see if you have 4 or 8 conductors. You will need to disassemble those. The ones you have now look like the Neitrik connector.

agree neutrik connex are your best bet..

in other news, what nimrod wired that tower? could've used the back legs and had no need for a connector.

The wiring was done at the factory. I'll check out those connectors
