Hey guys,

Im trying to pick between Phase5 Danielo pro (52'') and the diamond (51'').
It's my second year wakesurfing. I'm weigh about 110 pounds and am 5'5.

Last season I used my friends Phase5 Oath (53') and it seemed a bit large sometimes....

A 46-48" board will be much more responsive for you.

Phase 5 makes the Diamond Luv in a 48" which is the same shape as the Danielo Diamond
Victoria makes the Factor and the Factor PCX in a 48" size. And they make the Gremlin in a 46" size which would be really good for you. It has a ton of performance and is actually the right size for you.
You will get a lot more out of a board that is the right size. You will be able to progress quicker which makes riding more fun.

I'm 5'8" 165 and even I find boards 51" and up too large (when it comes to skimboards). You are smaller than most wakesurfers, and you will appreciate riding a board that is the proper size. Wakesurf boards cost a lot of money, and it would suck to spend that money on something that doesnt work for you like it should.

Again, if you are set on a phase 5, the Diamond Luv is a great shape and will work better than the 51 regular diamond.

Luckily more companies are starting to make smaller boards. Not everyone is 6 foot tall and 200 lbs
