Hello,

I can’t decide between a 22mxz or 23lsv. I wakeboard the majority of the time and wakesurf when I’m tired. I’m currently looking at 2015 lsv and 2016 mxz. Thanks

i'm going biggest boat i can get for my money- Never complained about too much space on a boat. Idk about surf wave but either factory wake should be more than enough for just about any skill set.

Properly weighted 23LSV Just this morning. It was dealing aces! Super fun wave.

Now I would say that’s definitely not true—but in this case, we added the 750# bow sac on the seats to give this boat what it needs to succeed! And it does—definitely an excellent wave.

Drawbacks are of course you have a huge bow sac in a 100k surf boat and she’s pretty nose low for rollers.

But absolutely needs it or it’s not on par with the really good wave club.

BUT: Malibu volume knob is THE BEST. Everyone should have one!

For perspective. Fun for sure!

If you go for the MXZ, go 2017 or later. The surf wave improved dramatically when the boat was redesigned for 2017. If you have any intention of surfing, stay away from the MXZs prior to that.

I Wakeboarder behind a 2015 LSV with 500’s on each side. With the smaller engine it almost didn’t plane. It needed more bow weight. The wake was good but nothing to right home about. I’ve riden older MXZ and it was much better. I think anything newer will surf fine with surf tabs.

Majority of his time is binding riding, let's see them wakes at 23 mph not 11.

The MXZ is my favourite wake so far. Cannot recommend it enough for wakeboarding. Not ridiculously wide, fantastic transition and great pop. Can't really comment on surf (have surfed behind it but haven't done enough to comment).

This X100. I tested a 25lsv last year and the volume knob was awesome haha

TBH either of these will do.

LSV is more rampy the 17+ mxz (which i would stretch to get) is lippier.

Good luck!

I've owned multiple MXZs and LSVs. If you're Wakeboarding you want the MXZ. The wake has more kick. I don't surf so I can't speak to that.
