Powell on a windy day?

The new tube... Kite Tube looks pretty sick, but does anyone know anything about it?

We would use it for the times such as when Lake Powell is windy and its too choppy to do anything else, because why waste good water on tubing... :]

But seriously. Does any one know anything about it, or have tried it?

i'm from salt lake city utah and there was a story on the news two nights ago about how it will probably be banned from lake powell within the next couple of months because of injuries. They said there has been at least one reported death from it and several serious injuries.

my count so far is 5 people have died on them this year.

when it gets windy on powell I would not recomened driving around, get back to your house boat and tie up.

don't get it...way to dangerous, so many injuries a few deaths have already occured and its only early june!
