Can someone tell me which Jabsco ballast pump models where probably used in a 2004 Ski Supreme Sky Supreme V230 because our boat is away getting re upholstered and I can't go see what the model numbers are.

Jabsco's are pretty interchangeable. Some different part numbers just indicate different impellers.

i went and got pumps through grainger. They are half the price and work just as well. You can also get a warranty with them.

Quality marine pumps like the Jabsco and Johnson are expensive for a reason. The biggest is that they are ignition protected. Not a bad idea for a pump that mounted in the bilge area of a boat.

Bret,

what are you trying to accomplish? If you need a replacement pump, just get the current Jabsco Ballast Puppy. If you need an impeller, I think all you need to really know is the first part of the model number.

They are half the price because they are half the speed with a rated output of 360 gph. Those pumps will be fine for a while but they are known to go through impellers. It is a china version of the SCC pump that MB used to use.

Just buy the Jabsco Ballast Puppy Pump. Look for the model number 18220 and it will have the green impellers. They will also share the same mounting foot print. Jabsco started shipping all Ballast Puppy Pumps with the green impellers in 2010.
