Merc - STBD Engine Fail 47???

Anyone familiar with the engine code "STBD Engine Fail 47"? (at least that's what I think it said...) The code disappears as soon as I let off the throttle and I forgot to look at the code while it was active... It's a 2009 Mercruiser Scorpion 350 with the emissions control and Smart Tow.

It started going into limp mode if I run it any faster than 8-10mph... It will run at 5mph all day and sounds fine, no missing or bogging that I can notice. Checked the fluids and they look ok. The cap had the slightest amount of corrosion, but not too bad, however I am replacing it and the plugs to see if it makes a difference.

How's the impeller?

Good point, I knew I was forgetting to include some info... the temp was normal, no overheating. I haven't actually checked the impellar yet because it's a PITA to get to...but I have a spare waiting to be installed...
