Oh, how I liked that deck. It was too small for me but it felt so much better than the 140 under my feet.

That Belmont/motive is a still my favorite board for learning new tricks. It's super consistent and predictable off the wake. I keep one in a 144 on the boat at all times.

Hey guys, besides learning raleys and such, which I agree this works like a charm, what other tricks have you guys learned using this method?

so for the off axis spins I am assuming that you make no attempt to keep the board under your feet?

@ dan, no.

Interesting. So basically just jump and spin. Makes sense. Anything to save the whiplash! I'll have to give this a shot.

Where do you get the grip for your feet? How did you make the raised section?

They are surfboard traction pads. They come with the raised sections.

Where did you get that foam from? I might be starting a wakeskate project in the near future and want to use foam. I can't find any that looks that sturdy.

These boards look like the mid 90's when everyone was hackin there old boards into make shift skates. Then Thomas saved us all. U guys are weird, just use a wakeskate.

I don't know about the wakeskates though. I feel like a wakeboard (without bindings) tracks better and more comparable for when you try the actual trick on your wakeboard (attached). However though I don't feel the need to put these traction pads on any of my boards. I just wear my wakeskate shoes and that seems to work fine?

wakeskates dont track nearly as well. and i use the traction pads so i can go directly to the wakeboard. plus i dont own a wakeskate or skate shoes. @jim thanks for your kind donation!!
