bullards

has anyone been up to bullards bar this early season? i'm headin up in a few weeks for a camping trip. just wondering what the water levels will be like....the web site says "the lake is filling up.." is that accurate?

went last week, freeezing. 62 water, 79 air. the water level is only half way up. It should start filling up fast as the snow melts though. Its good right now though because the drift wood is still stuck on shore. towards the end of may it should fill up to capacity and then driftwood will be floating like crazy until mid june.

nathan, lol, im spoiled because in summer we ride in 82 degree water. 62 is still cold with no wetsuit. especially since i have no body fat lol.

I hope I'm wrong but the water level is way lower than where it normally is by now, and some articles in Bay Area papers last week said that the snow pack, that started off awesome, is now really low due to one of the driest springs we have ever had. I don't think Bullards will be filling all the way up this year.
