Tige just came out with one new model, the R21, and upgrades to the R20!

Wow I hope the R21 is capable of a good surf wake. I would be sold

R21 is the same as a Z1 without all of the bells and whistles so it should put a decent surf wake.
I am hoping to test drive an R21. Looks like it might be an affordable boat.

Lookin' good. Wish we had Tige dealers around us I'd check one out.

My biggest problem of the old r20 was the tower look. This one is still the tube style but looks much better IMO. The base just makes it look a lot more high end and less after market

Also, there is a significant increase in dry weight (nearly 1100 lbs) and available ballast (1000 lbs) when going from the r20 to the r21.

Depending on the height, it also allows you to put a Rev 410 on the tower now whereas the Alpha Z tower forces one to be very creative to get it to work.

The R21 looks really sharp. Curious to see what base options are

Tige's Blog post states:
The standard price of a R21 is $62,615 USD, which includes Diamond Tower, TAPS 3 Surf System, Surf+Wake XL Ballast, R-Premium Sound System, Boat Cover, & Swivel Board Racks.

That does not include the price of the trailer, but in todays market thats not a bad price.

Yeah. Under $70k with a trailer for decent options. Not bad! Still kills me that close $70k is the entry price for one of these boats.
