Want to get 2 Bluetooth adapters one for my work van and 1 for my boat. I was looking and they range from $20-100. Anybody using these and know if there's is a major difference between the lower priced ones? Or have first hand feed back?

Well there are several of you use one or have used multiple and have good or bad feed back that's what I'm looking for. Does sound quality vary?

I've used a lot of the WW-BT-VC's from Wet Sounds, and they're solid! Money well spent on those.

Out of curiosity why use BT in lieu of an Aux cord? seems BT just drains the battery on my phone

When driving or what not it's do much easier plus my aux jack on my hu is going out from all the pounding in chop.

Figured I'd just bypass and hit my 420sq with a BT

If you're using a 420SQ, then add the BT-VC to the aux input of the 420. The 420 has a line driver so it'll all work well together.

As for buying a head unit with bluetooth instead, that all depends on where or what it's going in. If it's for the van, then I'd say get a head unit for the fact that you'll get handsfree calling in the van. The BT-VC is audio only.

Been using this in my care all winter. It is fantastic. I just wired it to an old cigarette lighter adapter end. So in summer I will just plug into to aux input on back of headunit.

I strongly recommend.

Has all latest codec etc I frankly noticed no degradation in sound. I tried 2 cheap ones, that did not work well.

I may have to get another one so I have one in boat and one in car as I have enjoyed it so much over the winter.
