When the water is too rough to go wakeboarding, one my favorite things to do is stock the cooler and just cruise around the lake and look at the Lake Houses. There is always something new and it's pretty cool to see the renovations. I'm sure there has been a thread like this before, but I haven't seen one like this in a little while. THIS IS NOT A **** MEASURING CONTEST!
I give you a lil background on our family's spot...this place has been in our family for over 80 years. At one point during the 50s or 60s (I think), it was actually picked up and moved a couple of lots down to where it sits now. Currently we are putting in a new bathroom downstairs and next summer we're moving the wooden wall back 3ft and replacing it with brick. Oh, and we just had the electric re-done because it hadn't been touched since the 1920s. It was a bit of a fire hazard.
1 pic is of our Lake House, 2-4 is how the lake looks now with the water levels down, and the 5th one is probably the nicest house on the lake.
