My local bicycle club does twilight races up at Boca near Truckee. Just had to cancel because of 2" of snow. Still feels like winter here.

It looks like a snow globe outside my office. Evan, I blame sperbet, who insulted Old Man Winter by lamenting "not like it snows in Tahoe anymore" as we were enjoying a nice 60-degree plus President's Weekend wakeboard session down in Auburn after the six week dry spell of no snow in Jan-Feb. Since then, it has snowed over 41 feet above 8000 feet. C'mon, sperbet, say "Uncle" already.

Hahaha.... This winter totally killed my plans. I've been working on talking the wife into moving to Truckee for 5 years and one record winter totally smashed my dreams.

Good luck up there, Brian. Hopefully it'll be sunny for our Bullards trip in two weeks.

We had a tornado in Sac yesterday and a couple in Marysville... wtf is going on? I'm starting to think those Rapture people were on to something.

73, while not freezing, is too damn cold for June in Cali. I'm waiting for temps in the 90's like we're supposed to get this time of year.

On a side note... my electric bill greatly appreciates this weather.

Chain controls on Hwy 80 this morning. Amazing.

I think this is the end of it, though. Supposed to be hitting 80 this week, then into the 90's for as far out as I can see on the forecast.

We'll be at Bullards next weekend. Hoping for some warm weather. Accuweather shows 82, 82, 80 for fri-sun. Water temp shows 60. I believe it, but it's only 3 degrees cooler than the delta. Water temp doesn't bother me if the air is warm.

C'mon summer. I'm ready.
