I'll play. Not riding but I am so stoked on my new backyard I had to share. Lift comes on Friday, X-Star and pontoon go in Saturday.

That is truly an amazing view! Congrats, one day I hope to be living the life and not towing an hour just to get to a lake.

I've lived in both Wisconsin and CA and like everything in life, there's trade off's. Who wouldn't want what Nick has 30 yards out the back door. But then again, you'd have to endure November-April. I wakeboard year around but it's 20 minutes to the weekly spot and and 4 hours to any decent weekend boating get-away.
Perhaps that's why Florida is the wakeboading capital of the world.

Yay, that does suck something fierce.
I would hate not living on the water... my few years in Minneapolis was tough, even being right downtown, there isn't a substitute for being right on the water... but beyond middle of no-where Wisconsin, we couldn't afford lakefront. Luckily we both found jobs,.... that's the hardest part of the area we are in. And again, winters suck hard.

False River- an oxbow lake by my house. It's been great for the past few weeks with little traffic, which is unusual for this time of year.

Luke, that's just an exceptional picture ... for all kinds of reasons.
Curious ... what boat, speed and rope length?
Where was this? (If you don't mind telling ... it's not like I'm going to bomb this with anything ... like, say ... with a jet ski ??? ... oh and ok ok ... I don't wake surf either.)

This picture was behind a Natique 210, speed I think is around 26, rope length 80.
This is in Louisiana, around the New Iberia area.... no wake surfing allowed haha.
Here is another pic.

Wow, 26 is fast... Though the wake does look clean for a super long time, so must be worth it. Definitely a cool shot though.

I was down your way on vacation last year. I believe these pictures are of the Live Oak river from the Aquatic Pavilion at Palmetto Island State Park. I never thought about the wakeboard potential for this water.

I'm in East texas now, grew up down there though. Always had good conditions but they lived on a very narrow part of it. Pretty good scene in southern LA from what I remember. Spring Fling event, not sure it's still going on

This was during my Sunday morning coffee waiting for the wife to wake up after a 2 a.m. night with the cousins. Got some barefoot, boarding, and slalom all in before the rest of the lake got moving.

Easiest way ... if you have chrome / firefox browser and your image is web based (imgur / facebook / etc)
1. right click on the image and select "COPY IMAGE LOCATION"
2. come to WW and type your message, then click the little yellow "Insert Image" .... then paste your image URL.
