Got a killer deal on a new board and then heard the dealer that I got it from is selling blem boards as new. Not sure how to tell. I looked it over and it's not damaged although some of the edges could look better.

Most of the time it's just a small bad spot in the graphic sheet not a construction issue.

usually graphic related. although the last blem I bought had bad binding inserts on the inside.

If it's made by a reliable manufacturer the board is usually stamped or marked in some way to designate it as a blem. It is usually very hard to find the defect. They do this so retailers don't try and sell blem boards as new and make more money on the deal!

As long as it's not structural, it's cool. It's an '07 Transcend Plat that I got for $235 shipped.

I've had one of those with the d etched in it. This one doesn't have a d, quality doesn't look that great though.

alot of the blem boards have small areas in the graphic because it didnt release from the mold right. they are never structural issues and still have the full warranty like a normal board
