What is the Gator 131 like? I'm currently riding the hyperlite state and wondering if this would be a good upgrade or not?

how big are you dude??? thats a pretty small board... I would pry stick with what you got right now... what size is your state??

my state is a 140......im 5'8 150lbs.

Jesse, 131 is pretty small man. I don't know if it would be a good idea to go from something like a 140 to a 131. Thats almost a 3" difference, which might not seem like a lot, but it makes a difference on the water thats for sure. Not sure if you're interested, but I've got an '05 136 Premier with '05 Era bindings in M/L for sale, willing to sell indvidually.

dude... that state will learn you anything.... thats a great shape!!! Premier is a great shape to though!!! Just depends on if you wanna spend money or not..... I think bindings are more important than decks really....

right on.... just square up at the last second to the wake and youll stomp it!!! Everyone i know that has trouble with the tantrum squares up early and misses their pop. Also use a wide grip on the handle! cut out wide and get on the gas fast that way you can waste some speed squaring up at the end.
