I have a few days off this week. Has anybody been to banks lake? Cabins are about 50 a night so the price is right. I could be a little chilly but we have drysuits and have been going yr round here near Seattle anyways. Anything to watch out for? Any recommendations for the area?

Thanks

Bakes

I've been there a couple of times but don't know the area well. The lake is huge and the water is cold (even in summer). Fun though, miles and miles of water. In summer we always got wind late in the day but that seems about normal for all of WA for some reason.

Great lake. You shouldn't have to deal with the wind this time of year if the weather is decent. The wind in the summer is caused by thermals which shouldn't be an issue this time of year.
