is the 537 the stock prop? I know I can use the 1235, but I'm not weighting the the boat that heavily.

Thanks

Yes the 537 is the stock prop. What engine are you running?

The Monsoon 350.

If you're not running a lot of weight, with a ton of people, and you're not at altitude you'll be fine. If you are doing any of the other I'd upgrade.

yes it is.....99.9% sure of it. The 1235 prop if you have that on your boat now is the way better prop. Regardless if you are weighting your boat down or not. The turning ratus is better and the control is better in tight spots getting your boat into those docks or small channels. My buddy has the same exact boat as I do and he still has the original prop and I feel like a drunken sailor when I drive his boat onto his trailer or to a dock. The only downfall to the 1235 that I can think of is the speed. The gas consumption to me was non existant, because it plains much faster and has more hole shot. So I didn't have to gun it as long. My two cents. Hey if you want to trade a 1235 for 537 I have one in my spare prop bag.

I appreciate the info and the offer. I'm running the stock prop, and I do have about 7 guys on the boat (on a good day) when riding. As soon as I aquire a spare, that's be cool. Just don't want to be with out a boat with the weather warming up.

The one draw back you'll notice with the 1235 is that you lose top end speed. It's all preference. We run at altitude and had to upgrade to the 1253, still notice bog down at weight at times wiht the 1235, but it's light years better. With the 537 we'd notice issues full stock ballast, my 230lbs ass at the end of the rope, and a cfouple people i the boat.

The 2011's are coming with the ACME 1939 which is apparently inbetween the 537 and 1235. Has anyone here had any experience with the 1939? Its a 14 x 15.5 pitch. I am considering going with the 1235 but when I demo'd the boat with the 1939 with full ballast/wedge it pulled really well. You also get a 44mph top end with it, I think the 1235 puts you down to about 41mph top speed.

You can always check the stamp on the prop and it will tell you what the pitch is. Possibly in 2011 they changed from the 537 to the 1939?
