Looking for a tower on my 18' glastron. Narrowed it down to big air plasma (mounted standard) and monster mt1. I personally am not sure I like the monster tower on glastrons. I have looked through the photos and it looks too big for a boat my size. The big air tower seems nice. I was told it is as strong as the H2O but with a lttle more lean back. There are so many towers out there and it is a big decision since you are stuck with it until you sell the boat. What do you think?

Here's the MT1 on my 19' caravelle. Rock solid tower, Wasn't my favorite when I was looking but everything I read on tower was you can't beat the Monster. Glad I went this route.

check out diywake.com too!

their pro wake universal tower in my opinion looks way better than the monster towers in the same price range.

I've installed one, ridden behind it, and maintained it ( a friend's boat) and love it.

Do yourself a favor and take a look

I do like the pro wake tower, but I have not found any pics of this tower on a glastron.

In my opinion the towers with the double rails on top like the pro wake above have the best look to them... It reminds me of the Air Nautique towers, but it seems like
Monster has been the more common choice for any boat.

But Check this site out it shows all the different samson towers on glastrons

Call Star One Wake and have them build you a custom tower for your boat for close to the same price. 916-858-1178. Lets keep our money in the US instead of ordering things that were built overseas. We cant complain about the economy if we dont buy American made.

had the Big Air H2o tower on my old boat, 2005 Regal 1800. It worked good and I could fold it down, but it did creak when someone was boarding. I do not know about Monster tower.

I personally hate the look of monster towers..no offense josh! But they have the reputation of being one of the most solid towers out there. I have a diywake tower on my sea ray that i transfered from my old boat and i think it looks sweet. It is very solid also but doesnt fold very easy...which doesnt bother me cause i park it in a big shed.

folding the diywake pro tower is super easy. two bolts have to be backed right out (with allen key head) and two other bolts just backed off a little bit to allow movement. It's a very similar setup to the 2003ish mastercraft towers (the real steep swooped ones) in regards to the bolts. takes a very short time to do. folds backwards to right around windshield height

None taken. Thats why there's more than car, Truck, motorcycle, etc to each there own. Not saying Monster is my favorite but it's solid, quiet, and folds easy which is a big plus for me as I drop mine every time I get home.
