Looking for some feedback on ropes and handles.....Just bought a boat and I'm looking to get all my own gear for the new ride....I'm not to concerned about the handle, I'll probably just get something that looks and feels good. Oh yeah it also has to float.....The "rope" or "line" is where I'm at a loss.......So many choices for a newbie. Help on what to get/avoid would be greatly appreciated. Seems like every company has 3 or 4 different brands of line....All I have to go by is colour and price because I haven't heard of half the stuff there made up of! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Whatever you get, make sure it is made of SPECTRA or DYNEEMA. these are non-stretch materials. Do not get a Poly-E or Nylon rope. these will stretch.

If you have and want to spend the extra money you can get one that has a fancy coating on it so it glides through your fingers better. some have a strand of foam in them to aid in floating.

Go with Proline. Their products are great, and their customer service/warranties can't be beat
