I have come accross a 2006 nautique sv211 but it has the 5.0 liter engine. I'm interested in the boat because consensus seems to be that it is the best crossover boat. Is the smaller engine going to be a problem pulling me through the course, surfing, wakeboarding, skating, etc. I assume it should really only effect top speed by a couple mph which is no big deal to me. Any experience and info is greatly appreciated

That engine will have all the power you will need for that boat. Top speed, hole shot, and engine stress can be adjusted by what prop you use.

NP, the only thing you should check is the altitude. Some of the others here that board in the mountains can give you more details. But you should be fine with it unless you are going to be very high up using it.

I thought in the sv211 the only available motors were a 5.7 or 6.0.
