Hello,

I have removed all of the decals from my 1992 MC Prostar 205 in preparation of fixing some gelcoat spots and polishing the entire boat. I’m nearly finished with the repairs and polishing so it’s time to order the new decals. As I leave for work in the mornings, my car lights hit my neighbor’s police car and all of the markings on it light up. Which got me to thinking this may be cool on my boat. I think it would look great on the water at night and as we tow it home. I can get them in white or silver to match the small silver stripe below the main black gelcoat.

Which brings me to my question; does anyone think light reflective decals would look cool or cheesy on a boat? Also, white or silver?

Thanks,
SWH

I guess the cool factor isn't going to out weigh the extra cost for the reflective decals.

I still haven't order them. Anyone else Carew to chime in?

You can also get reflective black.
Reflective stripes are cool but you will almost never see them. My boat sits at a buoy so I have some reflective tape on mine so it's easy to spot if I check on a dark night with a flashlight.
