Just got back from our annual trip to Lake Powell. I did all the video and put this together. All shot on a GoPro 3+ Black and a Canon 5d Mark III. Some wakeboarding here by me but mostly a lot of surfing and other stuff.

AWESOME! Looks like you guys camped in Navajo with that big sand spot. I have seen your Houseboat at Antelope Point, looks like a hell of a time...

Leaving for Powell Thursday... Should be a hell of a time at Antelope Point Marina's annual JDRF poker run.

Thanks for the comments guys. Its a fun trip every year. Next year a blob for sure!

I started not expecting to make it even half way through, but that held my interest better than most videos of any caliber of riding. Incredible skill and a ton of time must have gone into that.

The one time I made it to Powell we camped and spent most of our time cruising looking for decent water. That right there is the type of Powell trip I need to take.

Did all of those people (23?) stay on one houseboat?

So sick! Powell with a G23 and 20 friends? Sounds like a dream.

On my upcoming roadtrip I'm going to pass through Powell on Sunday Oct, 19th for my first pilgrimage to wakeboard mecca...unfortunately I will be alone and boatless. Anyone know where I might be able to find a pull or at least go out and film? It's going to be quite a tease if I can only look at it from shore

Wow, so jealous..... Anybody want to organize a Texas trip out there?

Wonderful video. It looked like one of the greatest weeks ever in one of the world's best locations. Also nice to see so many water sports being enjoyed. Most of these types of videos are drunk idiots with no skills or brains posing on expensive boats while holding a beer to prove they are cool and having fun. It's nice to see a video that showcases a great time on the water and made by such a talented guy. My wife loved it as well and I think you have inspired us to put together a trip like this. Thanks for sharing and showing lake culture in such a positive, fun light.

This lake brings out the best in not just water sports, but the adventures, family and friends fun and creativity on a vacation. I went for 14 years in a row when I was a kid and have always thought it was one of the best places on Earth.

Your video is inspiring and reminds me of how much fun a vacation outdoors can be with just about anyone. Anyone who enjoys the water owes it to themselves to houseboat on Powell with a boat for a week. There is a reason so many families drive hundreds of miles to this lake once a year. It is a magical place that embodies everything there is about boating and family fun.

I would love to make a trip with a group out there but without having to drag your boat all the way across the country what are the other options? Do they rent nice inboard boats anywhere on the lake?
