Would a 140 liquid force deluxe wakeboard be too big for A 115 pound kid? Also before I make this buy if I am at all do you think it's the right choice for cable compared to other liquid force boards or ronix boards? And I've been hearing a lot about durability issues with LF gear. So how's the deluxe when it comes to durability compared to the peak? Or is the peak a way better board either way? Thanks!

I think a 140 is definitely too big for a 115 lb person. At this stage either of those boards will be plenty durable for the kid. Once he puts on a few pounds and starts hitting obstacles hard then you might start to worry about durability.

What size board is he on now? With that kind of experience he should be able to pick out his own board size just by demoing. Seems to me like a 134 would be about the biggest for his weight.
