Anybody ridden behind this boat or been in one? Looks like a sweet boat for the price.

The '09 vRides are the same hull as the 05-08 VLX (21) and 04-07 LSV (23). The differences are options and trim levels.

Does anyone know if the front ballast tank will still be an option in the V-rides?

You cant get the front ballast but its so easy to fit 300 pounds of lead in the front so you wont really miss it. I like the clean look and being able to dump it with the front tank but you get a lot more storage.

IMO, if you don't need the bells and whistle's, the VRide is the way to go. Just weight it down, and it's the best. Weight up front is a must, as we all know.

The stock midship and rear ballast is just fine, but the front ballast imho is the most important and this boat requires it.

^^^^this

I sold my 06 because I forgot to the front ballast. Got the 07 and it made a lot of difference.

That's a pretty good price considering. Those VLX's are SOOOO nice.
