Doug, can I dibs the loft in the barn for Worlds, Gordie dosen't need the whole thing, I heard you got indoor plumming last year so it's all good.
Old     (supradoug)      Join Date: Dec 2001       05-07-2008, 8:27 PM Reply
ok, now that there is several people wanting the loft, where will the bidding start??????? I do need a new tractor and with fuel so high money will go to good use....lol and don't worry we have fresh milk and all the catfish you can eat.
With this many people we may have to dig another outhouse..Randy,Gordie yall up fer that? I hope I see everyone before September. Oh and everyone is safe the tornados were about 15 miles north of us today.

By the way Doug how is Ryan? I know he can noodle I've seen him catch one in person. In arizona we jab sharp stick's in the hole before we put our hands in......
Old     (wakedad33)      Join Date: Oct 2005       05-07-2008, 11:03 PM Reply
Gordie, Northwest style we use M-80's
Old     (eas)      Join Date: Nov 2001       05-08-2008, 6:57 AM Reply
"...sharp sticks......M-80's..." pssshhhh....here in God's country, we believe in giving the fish a sporting chance!

but seriously....I don't put my...umm...hands....anywhere that smells like fish! ....I don't want some angy beaver ripping it off!!

So here's the deal....as long as you don't mind sleeping next door to a 2-year-old, we also have a room available for world's week/weekend. There is a guestroom with a bed and also a bonus room where 2 or 3 could crash under/around/BUT NOT ON () the pool table. We can talk more about it as it gets closer, but let me know because you all are more than welcome!

oh...and if it helps....Doug is only 2 miles from my house and that is where the kegs and bonfires will be set up all week!!! Sorry Doug!!

Eric, I'm in, thanks. The thought of sleeping in a barn in Oklahoma with Gordie was making me a little spooky
Old     (wakeparent)      Join Date: Jan 2005       05-08-2008, 7:34 AM Reply
Randy, as long as Ryan is not in the barn I don't think there will be any spooning going on..
Old     (eas)      Join Date: Nov 2001       05-08-2008, 8:19 AM Reply
Randy: Cool!

for everyone else.....PLEASE don't ask me how I know this......but Gordie hit that nail on the head!!! seriously....that kid is the spoonin-est teenager I've ever met! of course that might be why he and Larry get along so well....Larry will just sleep through the whole thing!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!
Old     (wakeparent)      Join Date: Jan 2005       05-08-2008, 11:06 AM Reply
He spooned Jacob once or twice, I think there was a thread a couple of season's ago, with pictures. I think he's just sensitive like that.....

Eric, Larry doesn't sleep through it, it's mutual. I've seen it..

Sorry Gordie, I love you..

Oh Believe me, Gordy had that coming, man is nothing sacred? Hear, that? that was the thump of poor little jakie being thrown under the bus by one of his favorite people in the world, Gordy Taylor.
Gordy, you HAVE to go to Worlds, imagine all of us in one room? (no fireworks Eric)ok, well maybe....
And no, Gordy you cannot have Dougs tequilla, He will chase you down barefoot and backwards! But Leza can drink Margaritas with me and Cara

What's up Eric? Yes I did terrible...
Trying to redeem myself this next weekend in Acworth, but it'll be junior mens this time. Stiff competition..

Robyn, how about I'm drivin and Eddie dropped the m-80 in my mountain dew, or the 10 boards and suit cases tied to the roof with wakeboard rope. There was like 9 people in the car.... Hopefully we can have some more fun like that before the boy's don't want us around anymore!
Old     (teamvaldez)      Join Date: Apr 2003       05-08-2008, 3:22 PM Reply
HEY, they were along for OUR pleasure! Never EVER tell them differently! LOL! The whole alliance/No Fear crew in a compact to the airport from the KC cable park. That was so much fun!

Tell me about it Robyn! It's been too long!! I can almost taste the margaritas and Doug's famous grilled jalepeno cheesy bites. YUM!!!

wait...wait...wait....that whole "meet-us-at-the-cable-on-the-way-back-to-the-airport" debacle was not "fun"! 2 hours the opposite direction after a long a$$ weekend and lookin' at 8 more hours of driving....I think we rolled into okc at about 3:30 AM....thanks a lot left coasters!!!

of course I'm kidding, but geez what a long haul after that great weekend....big thanks to Doug for handling most of the driving....but I think we all got a turn as captain of the short bus that night!

....and Cara nearly in freak-out mode! those storms were the real deal though....too bad they followed us all the way to KC and cut our ride short!

you know....for the worst contest water we've ever ridden (well, besides the river last year....yes, the same river for worlds!!!).....that really was a great trip! can't wait to see ya'll again!

Cece, the year you rode in Orlando, was that the same year we rented those condos in kissimee? And had the BBQ Poker night on Saturday?
Old     (cece)      Join Date: Apr 2002       05-09-2008, 1:39 PM Reply
Yes, it was the same year! 14 of us in the condo. I was a wreck - airline broke the fin off my board, Gordie had to call the airline and talk to them to keep me from freaking and then I almost missed my run because of Sea World traffic. Good times!!

The BBQ was the best though! I swear everybody from Worlds was in that little park with no lights getting eaten alive by bugs
Old     (supradoug)      Join Date: Dec 2001       05-10-2008, 6:01 PM Reply
cece, if you would have drank the tequila rose the bugs would not have bothered you...

Doug has Ryan got a shot to be ready for Fort Worth? The beer garden wont be the same without you

Doug, I almost forgot about that stuff!!! At least I wouldn't have cared about the bugs had I drank that swill. Can't wait for round 2!

We will find out tommorrow if he has a shot at Acworth. Freakig Dr has been on vacation since the first time he saw Ryan. I will be in Ft Worth whether he is riding or not, So I gotcha covered on that Randy.

Ahhhh tequila rose, thats the good stuff, huh Gordy?? I know Leza is in on that!! Cece, you are next!

Robyn, Is that a threat? That stuff scares me! Just give me a good old Coors Light and I'm happy. However if you expect me to try noodling, I better have something a lot stronger than CL.
Old     (eas)      Join Date: Nov 2001       05-12-2008, 9:37 AM Reply
cece....we got some natty light to get you noodlin'!

was that before or after you told the doc that his wake jumps were like coming down off a one-story house and his d-ups were like coming off a two-story condo?!?!
Old     (supradoug)      Join Date: Dec 2001       05-13-2008, 1:32 PM Reply
i think the doc did some research since our last visit. He sounded like he was working in a pro shop....lol. Cara was there so she gave him the 50 questions. I told him he is limited to 180 wake jumps now.

that's funny....he's like...."yea, mr. anderson, uhhh let's just make sure that when he's cuttin' in on his toes that he keeps the handle low and has a lot of weight on his front foot so the pop is more consistent and he can maintain his axis through the entire maneuver...." HA!

so what's up with ft. worth? do i need to drive myself or what's the dizzle?

I don't think it's Doug's fault, it's some of the passengers:

Gordie is correct, it is always the passengers. Eric i will call you about that next week, We are going to Eufaula this weekend. 1. thanks for the offer D.

2. "it is always the passengers"....that's funny because I thought it was more about when big, grumpy bear dougie gets sleepy you better just leave him alone and don't be in his spot....you will get crushed!
