I prolly should just e-mail grant since he is the master on this stuff but here goes.I am replacing my gauge/switch panels with carbon fiber.Actually I have a sheet of veneer to go over them. I need to cut out the holes for perfect pass and the air/water temp but I am afraid to use a hole saw on the veneer. Ideas? Suggestions?

If your cutting carbon fiber veneer (thin stuff) then it should cut just like fiberglass no big deal. I would clamp it between some wood and cut threw the wood and into the carbon fiber.

Thans Grant! Tried it last night, cut through the wood then ran the drill backwards through the CF. Nice smooth cut no sharp edges! Maybe you should change your name to CarbonFiberMan.
