I am planning on going there for Father's Day and I was wondering if anyone had recently been there and what were the water conditions. Was there a lot of logs? I know it is super cold still 62degrees, but I am more worried about the logs and unmarked Islands since the water level is so high.

Thanks for any info.

We were there two weeks ago and it was still remarkably cold with air temp in the low 70s, though it was trunkable mid-day. We were also worried about debris, but there were only a few logs/sticks here and there. Nothing too bad with your eyes peeled, even down the river arm. The water level still had 10-20' left to fill up, so there might be more debris if the water has come up since then. I don't think you need to worry about unmarked islands as long as you use very common sense. We were there last year in mid-May when the water was at the rim and there was debris everywhere. That being said, I don't think you'll have a problem by mid-June. Bullards Bar on Father's Day sounds like a good way to spend the day!

I got a coworker taking his boat up there this weekend, I will get a full report from him on Tuesday and let you know.

Okay I was on the Bullardsbar website and it says the water level is at 93% and the temp is 62 degrees. Is the water really that cold? I hope the website didn't update and it is warmer...I have a feeling it is correct. Any feedback from anyone that was recently there. Thanks.

My co-worker said the lake was beautiful and about 20-30 feet from the top. They were boarding and skiing first thing in the morning each day and said the water temp was averaging about 64 according to his boat. He said for memorial weekend it wasnt busy at all.

I was up there over the weekend and the water was about 62. There was a few logs that I saw but they were pretty much in the same area together.

By the time you go conditions should be great, well as long as you're riding in the morning
