Does anyone re-wrap handles? I have searched for a handle that works for me and cannot find anything that compares to my old Helium replaceable handles. The problem is that you cannot find the replacements anymore. Does anyone know where to find the Helium replacements anymore? If not what is a solid wrap to redo my current handle?

tennis wrap could work. just wrap it tight and protect the ends

I tried tennis wrap. It is made to absorb sweat, but as soon as it is full (really quick in water), It is super slippery. Athletic tape works great, but the adhesive starts to bleed through because of wear and heat. I've been griping-grain since the spring of 2014. I used a 14" piece of wooden dowel I had in the shed so I could ride on Sunday after breaking my handle the day before. I am still riding it today. When I ride other handles, it feels mushy.

Cool Thanks, I had tried tennis wrap but it didn't work great. Figured I would see if anyone else had success with it. I have looked at bat tape and have a leather bike handle bar wrap on the way. The athletic tape should be interesting to give a go.... Thanks!

What is best to adhere the tape to the bar without coming off in the water?

on one end, you wrap it over itself to hold it down. comes with some black tape to finish off the other end. I'd personally melt the tape on the loose end so it doesn't come off.

used to wrap my putter with the stuff and it stayed put despite being pulled out of the bag on every hole. I saw a few absorbent ones, but would think you could find a non-absorbent variety.
