I want to detach the front of the ballast bag so I can get in and clean the carpet under the ballast. Does anyone know how it's attached?

Also, is anyone using something to keep the bag directly off of the carpet like Dri-deck, to allow for circulation and let it dry?

I ripped out my carpet, but that is a good idea about putting something underneath the bag so it will dry. How about that bar mat stuff they use under the glasses? Not the stuff they stand on. Also I was thinking about changing the bag fittings to the quick disconnect kind so I can take the bag out. Look at the wakemakers website.

I have a V210 but ordered fittings from FlyHigh and made the bag quick connect for easy removal. No carpet under mine but I wouldnt want any if there was... its just going to hold moisture.

Sorry to hijack, but how in the he** do you remove the center ballast sac? I would like to attach quick disconnects to it and be able to remove it at will. Seems something is holding the sac up toward the bow, but I can't seem to reach up in there to feel exactly how it is held. Thanks.

Hey Guys ... for those of you with the 215, here's what I learned from Scott today.

The forward ballast has an overflow hose that is connected in the
front of the bag. This hose goes forward and around to the overflow port
just in front of the driver. Disconnect this hose at the port, tie a string
to it and pull it through from the bag side. After you get it out leave the
string there, so you can pull it back through to the port for re-connection.

Hope this helps

Makes sense. I'll give a try tomorrow.
