So can someone tell me the difference between a Jabsco 18220-1123 and Jabsco 18220-1127. I just found the original ballast owners manual's and it showed that the original pumps where the
18220-1123's and then 2010 the old owner replaced one of them with the 18220-1127.

The Jabsco 18220-1123 has a neoprene impeller and the Jabsco 18220-1127 has a green polyurethane impeller. Jabsco changed the part number when they changed the impeller. Those old black or yellow impellers were not great and the greens that were added in 2010 have been awesome.

The called them water puppy's earlier(ballast is water) and then changed the name to ballast puppies. I think they also make different GPH pumps. Might want to check the flow on those 2 part numbers and make sure they are the same.

here's the owners manual for the original ballast pump is it the same as the 18220-1127 if so to make the pump's the same all i would have to do would be to put a green impeller in the 18220-1123 to match the 18220-1127 even if it says water puppy on it.
