Park's Documentary thoughts...

Thought the video was pretty legit. For those who aren't as "educated" about the progression of the sport as others, I thought is was a great history lesson of how far its come. I enjoyed some of the new Park's urban/rail footy that I hadn't seen... and loved the old riding stuff. Makes you remember how ahead of the game he was back then.

Good stuff. Anybody else see it?

I really enjoyed the film. The history of the Bonifay's blew my mind. The way Zane told his memories of Parks growing up was awesome. I got chill bumps a few times.

It was a great movie from start to end.

Im going to buy it regardless Im sure it's great. I've been following Parks since he first showed up on the tour. Here's a q - how does it compare to Retrospect? Is it that good? Better?

When hit the rail & blew his good knee I just cringed..After all he went through on his other knee, getting healthy & that happen on such a small setup makes you wonder.. Allot of info I did know about Parks or Shane, was great to see. More of a Documentary on Parks than the roots of wakeboarding & that was the idea.

It really was one of the best films for wake that I have seen. It really shows that Parks was meant to be a wakeboarder. I am going to buy it and watch it numerous times. It was one of the first times I have ever felt like I NEEDED to give a standing ovation.

The footage of him blowing out his good knee at OWC was so hard to watch...didn't know anybody had that footage.

Not trying to be soft but I teared up twice.

Just like a few of you touched on, this movie is sooo much more than just Parks riding. As it shows Parks progression, challenges, and achievements you get a solid feel of how our sport was created and how it hs progressed and changed into what it is today. His mark and influence is insane. Hearing "Legends" speak so highly of him even when he was so young is powerful stuff.

You have to see it. Not only a great video but very high quality production and editing. It is an awesome video for the sport overall and really cool to follow the steps in his career. It was crazy to see that Parks really has been on the water since he was 6 months old. Watching him ski at 6 months was just insane.

I keep telling my fiance that our child ( not born yet) has to beat 6 months 29 days to beat Parks on waterski's. Have you seen a six month old it's amazing that they were able to teach him to stand and hold on. Most six months old can't even crawl.

The only reason Zane is pushing the vid so much is because he has a big part in it ;) LOL!

I must say though, Zane's commentary was epic and really added alot to the film.

When I first met Zane I thought to myself, Who's this old dude trying to cut in front of me at the Orlando boat show. he was gracious enough to sign my sons wakeboard that he brought to have the pros sign

I loved the part where Zane drew a goatee & beard on Parks with a sharpie at the X games so he could get into the bar.. Now that's true sportsmanship right there!

I was funny to hear Darin Shapiro worry about a 14 y/o boy beating him in the old wakeboarding footage. I'm a firm believer that his best years are yet to come, Maybe not in a usual contest format , But in his own innovation of what's possible...
