Brandon,
You can purchase multiple kits and link them, we have done a total of 6 boats so far. This weekend we are going to try 8...

OK, so basically we will need to buy the whole kit each time. We cannot buy one kit and one extra reciever/transmitter. I hope they change that and sell them separately. I would like to buy an extra one but not exactly willing to drop the $150 twice

If I understand correctly either device can be a transmitter/receiver, so if you bought 2 kits you would in effect have 1 transmitter and 3 receivers... Is that correct?

Yes

$300 price tag is getting steep cost per value imo. Breaks down to $100 per boat you want to hook up to you. Love the idea but starting to price it out of the market. Almost better off sticking to the old fashion way of running an aux cord across the boats. I'm keeping fingers crossed they will come up with a little cheaper option to get recievers. I'd love to buy this set up.

Compared to the other "SKAA" transmitters these are fairly cheap considering they also receive.
I personally figure what will happen is that it won't be you buying the receivers for the whole cove. Rather you have yours, the guy next to you has the ones he got, same for the next 5 boats. Then the ones who haven't don't have their own will borrow from someone who is only using one of their two.
I know at my local city lake, the guys who have helped test out mine have said as soon as they are released they will all be buying one pair each for their boats.
So being that it is a up and coming communication standard and being a leading product manufacturer. They will end up on a majority of the boats on the water.

Also to be noted any "SKAA" transmitter or receiver will work with these.

Make sure it's thoroughly tested unlike the LED light rings and 420 & BT snap, crackle and pop!

Just think of all the positive press if sending out a rep to troubleshoot the few problems of ww customers on past products so we will buy a new link.

Customer service lasts forever.

Did you buy lights 4 years ago that just died?

I've dealt with Wet Sounds for years, and haven't had issues that they haven't taken care of immediately.

Hmm that's wierd. I have been on the pre order list for some time, basically since I first heard of the product. I now get the emails every week trying to sell me other products because I called and gave Wetsounds my email when getting on the pre order list. I was never notified they were available, and have yet to recieve mine.

Are you sure you didn't say 'mailing list' instead of 'waiting list'?

Received mine yesterday! Thanks for the fast shipping Tim. I also picked up a SkAA transmitter to play around with their app and to have 2 receivers if I want . Kind of surprised there's not more SKAA stuff out there.

Yes 100% sure. The sales guy was the one that told me he could put me on the pre order list so I would get the product when it was first released.

I received a set for demo back when they sent out several. They seem to work great so far. I loaned mine out to a couple clients and they use their's in their RZR's on a trail. As long as they were together on the trail, they kept playing.

I've used a couple sets at a couple shows we set up at, had a Slingshot, a RZR4, a Yeti jambox, and a Wet Sounds active display all connected together.

So far they work awesome. Decent range and good sound quality. I purchased a Korus skaa transmitter so I could use it as my transmission device on my phone and ipod. The one thing I don't like about that is if you have a case on you phone, you'll need a lightning plug extender which makes it rather inconvenient. The iPod one I got was low profile and works well.

Now that this thing is released....

Any news on the 12" FA sub that I have heard rumors about on a few other threads?

I have the A-Link setup and it works great! Two friends also have the pair. Together we have linked up 6 boats successfully and works/sounds great!

Well how's A-link working out. It looks pretty cool and might have to put it on my "soon to buy list." Any other reviews? How many receivers can we expect to pair to a broadcaster?
Old     (durty_curt)      Join Date: Apr 2008       02-02-2018, 6:07 AM Reply
6 is what we we have gotten on one frequency, they can be ran at two different frequencies, so if you have the sender using a y connector then you can run 6 on one and another 6 on the other making 12. But chances are at that number you could be out of range to have a clean transmission of music, 11 boats is a pretty long tie up!

Last year was our second summer with them and we love them.
DC how did you get 6 receivers off of one transmitter? We have only been able to get 4 per receiver. I talked to Wetsounds and SKAA both and they said 4 was the max.
Well worth the money . Can't wait to set it up with our new WS source unit this summer.

You made me check with the crew but it's confirmed. We have hooked up 6 on one signal and 10 while transmitting on 2 signals

ive never personally used these but been out a a few large tie ups and one year they couldn't get them to all sync up and the next they got like half of them to sync up..seems like they have some limitations or bugs that need worked out..its a good concept especially at tie-ups so you aren't listening to boats all with a different song on drowning each other out..
Old     (chpthril)      Join Date: Oct 2007       02-12-2018, 8:12 AM Reply
Sure there are limitations, like everything has. Range only goes so far and you can sync only so many.
Old     (cowwboy)      Join Date: Jul 2008       02-12-2018, 11:21 AM Reply
Like was said before, there is a limit on the receivers per transmitter. Also if you start hitting the pairing button to many times it puts it into different modes or can start groups etc.
