Trying to get my 360s down and last night I ran into the back of the boat/swim deck pretty hard on two separate attempts. It really got me wondering if anyone has been hurt running into the back of the boat? I've got a cut on my ankle from where I banged it on the outside of the swimdeck during a fall. Ouch!

I have never seen anybody that I have rode with hit the boat themselves I've seen boards hit with beginners. You should try doing your 3s in the middle of the wave. Do a couple pumps and comment don't really try spinning but riding a circle. And snap your head around and your body will follow. Try putting more pressure on your back foot more. You are definitely spinning to close to the swim deck tho. Keep Trying You Will Get It!

I've been pumping down the bottom of the wave and getting the board around without any problem.... it just feels like I lose too much speed and can't catch back up with the pocket -- so I cut further down the wave towards the back of the boat trying to give myself some more time to catch the wave. It is ALMOST working (except for those two times I hit the boat in the middle of my spin or fall.)

Try pumping just as you are almost around it will give you a jump on the wave.
