Has anyone made speaker cans using pvc pipe? If so did you paint them or wrap them in fiberglass, aluminum or something else? Any suggestions for my winter project would help. Thanks

I made some back in the day and painted them. I went to some effort of sanding and using the right paint so it would not peel, but the paint still only lasted one season. If you have the glass skills I would say go for that.

i used some rvs clamps in with a plumber uses for his pipes. i will make some foto's of them if you want. it's a very cheap solution but it's fine by me.it's the only thing i could think of and it cost like €10. the conection for the wire,s are from original speakers.

I would like to see pics please. What size pvc is that? Did you paint them? How are you gonna attach the speakers to the tubes?

Those cans are a little questionable. There is that mounting arm on the top then 2 holes in the can behind that. And the clamps are one piece. How do you get them onto your tower if their not split?
