Actually blacks are very socially conservative, they just vote democrat even though it has always been the republicans that have been on their side from the days of slavery to today. You again don't know what you are speaking about. What republicans don't support is special rights for people and that is where black Americans have swapped over. They have accpeted the liberal mindset and the old democrat adage of you are stupid if you don't vote for your own best interests. Of course if a political party is going to shower you with free stuff, majority are going to vote for it especially if you are poor. Free stuff is enslaving as we can see by all the democrat controlled inner cities. Republicans have not changed their stance. Equal right not special rights.
