Been super interested in this brand. I'm considering the 1 up and the Oracle for boat riding. How do they ride and what's the difference between the two? Like pretty much every rider... I like pop lol. That's why I've been looking at wood boards. The poppier the better.

I ride a 1up. Super awesome board. It's got a blended rocker with pretty aggressive curve to it. It lands really soft, it's really playful when you want it to be and it gets down to business when you want it to.

I've not ridden an Oracle.

Does it pop early or late?

Not sure I can definitively say. I think you'll find most blended rockers to be in between and I'll say this board is no different. It just has smooth, predictable pop. It doesn't buck you super hard into the air like an aggressive 3 stage board, but it also doesn't have typical continuous rocker characteristics either.

i rode the oracle for a year and progressed a ton on it . super predictable and the landings are incredible . they guys at humanoid are great to deal with. i started riding the oshea at the end of the season and its also an awesome board. its also continuous but more explosive and turbo
charged. i love the oshea but still kind of miss riding the oracle . the oracle is medium flex so if you havent ridden a flex board its inportant to edge progressivley. it has a later release and is very smooth. it took me a minute to fogure that out but it is so predictable its just a blast to ride . softest landings ive felt

Maybe the oshea is a better board for me then. At this point in my life I'm not overly cautious about having soft landings. I like the shape of the 1 up though. How do the 1up and Oshea compare?

havent ridden the 1 up but i believe chris o rode this before he had his pro model. you wont be disspointed with the oshea . the other guys in my crew loved it also.. if you wanna go big id say go with the oshea. fast and tracks awesome. i ride it with 2 fins to get a looser feel.

The O'shea is definitely an awesome boat board. I know a few guys that are riding it and really liking it. I haven't ridden one so can't really speak to it, but it's definitely a fast-across-the-water continuous rocker board from what I understand. The new Vandall board will almost definitely be similar as well. The 1up is a little slower, which typically results in more off-the-wake pop.

Honestly, if you're not in desperate need of a new board right now, I would wait for the 2016 Catalog to drop, as there are some new things coming for 2016. Including Vandall's pro model.

Hey bud, where are you located? I have a one up if your close enough you are more than welcome to demo. I love it, its flexy with a ton of pop. speed wise I would say medium not as slow as Danny Harfs One, but not as fast as a 2012-2014 Hyperlite Merek. Its very smooth, Predictable and loose when not on edge.

Thanks for the advice! I'll just wait to see 2016 gear. I'm bet vandall's board will soon be humanoid's top selling board.
