Looks ok just never seen one before. Not sure about that price though....a lot of more proven options for less.

Gekko went out of business several years ago. They were bought out again, and restarted, by one of the original people I think. The Revo was designed in 2003 and did not have a great reputation then although it was the best Gekko wake boat they ever made. I'd say the price is $30k high or so. Maybe a bit more if you like the bling.

You can buy one for $60K brand new. They're decent boats actually with options. Nice design, fit and finish. It's just a little different, but a lot of new boats are different than what we're used to..........Sanger! That's $60K w/ the options.

For that price there are a hell of a lot of other boats I would consider first.

I use to ski with a team that had a Gekko Bazooka, worst boat ever. Seriously it just sucked at everything.

... as far as the Revo, can't think of any reason anyone would ever pay that much for that boat.... ever.

I looked at one of these years ago at a dealer that had a few. It just was not compareable to wake boats of that time much less now. I would take an old SAN or X over that any day.

This shows you all you need to see about the wake.

IF you could get one new for about 40-45 might be good for a smaller family as an alternative to an I/O.

I must be behind the times... I thought skull graphics had gone the way of Orange County Choppers and tribal bicep wrap tattoos.

They call it a 23 foot boat in the ad but that must include the swim platform. I'm pretty sure that my 21 foot SAN has more cockpit room.

Yep. No doubt.

nothing positive to say about this...

that's a serious amount of cash for a boat that will have very little resale and a name most have not heard of...

No one will buy that boat. That's the most positive thing I could think to say about it.

Some dealer locally here is also trying to sell new ones here. This one gets reposted about every 3-4 days, no price so I'm not sure what they are trying to get.

As stated above gotta be cheap as name recognition and resale will not be there. There is a reason they went out of business in the first place. I think they are being built here in Minnesota.

Yes - they are built in MN - at the Larson Boats factory. The founder is from MN too - lives in Shakopee the last I heard. They make great ski boats (or at least did), but the wake boats were not quite there. The Revo is the same design as it was in 2003 when it was first released...doesn't look like anything has been done with it since it was released. There definitely aren't that many of them out there and since they nearly went extinct back around 2008, there truly isn't much brand recognition.

They were never very popular and went out of business because of that. Can't see how financially it would be a good idea to bring them back. I suppose if they have the old molds(obviously they do) then the boats can be built reasonably. Then if you just punch out a few you aren't out much and then just do custom orders from there. I just don't see them catching on at anywhere close to $85K.

I wouldn't drop even 45k on one. What would be the point? Think of all the real wake and surf boats you could get for 45k. Sure they'd be used but they'd still be way better. $85k is a joke!

The only thing I am positive about is this boat is positively a pice of @&$.

Anyone dropping 85k on one needs to be put out to pasture. Mine as well light 85k on fire. It'll be a better time.

I thought I had seen it all with regard to the ridiculous prices boats have achieved. Until now. 85K for a damn Gekko. One would have to be on drugs to spend that.

But, it has a skull wrap

I was thinking about buying one but the trailer would not fit in my garage.
