Looking at replacing the platform pad on my Moomba LSV with one from seadek (see sponsers)...

I currently have the 3 piece rubber pad, what is the advantage of 3 piece vs. 1 piece?

Is it so your board won't suction to the platform?

Usually because the swimstep is bigger than the material.

On our previous boat we replaced our three piece with a one piece from seadeck. It seems like a 1 piece is a little harder to install but was a bit nicer to have the whole thing covered.

I have the one piece pad from SeaDek on my Moomba and absolutely, 100% love it. Best mod I've done to the boat. Still strong but so much softer and no black crap getting all over the seats.

I believe there is a group buy for them going on in the Moomba forum right now. Check it out!
