So I loved my helium swat vest. I got myself a lankey azz torso, and the heliums did great. But it looks like there is no more CGA heliums? Any one know where there might be some L or XL swats for sale? Or any other CGA side entry vests that you all like?

there are no more on the killer sale they had last year, but they got swats and other cga vests still

the side-entry version of the hyperlite agent vest is nice and fairly lengthy i thought too. now its called the "hatch"

jet pilots core side entry and recoil se vests (these i have little experience with)

I cant think of any others... but, i did try on the new Ronix Capella at a store while on vacation last week...

pretty freaking awesome I thought. wish i had the $ to blow. It is a Front zip, but it has some amazing contours and hinge points everywhere. thinned out in back, and has good padding around the ribs and such for protection. I thought it had a good length on it too. I would say this vest is one of the most significantly different designs to be CGA in a while. The only thing i did not like about it is that i have a super hard time buying vests with more than 50% of the straps hidden at a time. I HATE strap twisting, and i cant get straps to untwist if they are overly hidden. i dont know that the Capella would have problems in this regard, i just would rather avoid it. the helium Swat (love it too) is great in this aspect. about a total of 80% of straps' length are hidden, but only 40% in back and 40% in front.

Super comfortable, and thinner than the heliums. I used to only ride helium CGA vests until this year when I needed a new one...luckily I found this one.

I just got my Hyperlite Hatch in the mail yesterday and I like it a lot. I am 6' and the medium came to just above my waistline. I haven't had a chance to ride in it yet but it seems really comfy just wearing it around the house. I had a Helium division last year and it doesn't compare to the Hatch.
