Last week I sent a link to my sponsor me video to a eyewear company. He hit me back saying only : What's your adress? I wrote him my adress and asked why he wanted that and the last email I received said : to send you your team packet. what does it really mean? he never told me officially I could ride for them or never asked me which sunglasses I wanted so what'S a team packet?

I sell Utopia in my shop and one of my riders ride for them. They have different levels,so to start I think its just a discounted price on the product.

Well if it's just a discounted price on the products, it's not that great cause I was able to have price like that on almost any company my shop sell.

It all depends on what Utopia feels you will bring to the table for them. I am shur Phillip Solven gets a great deal from Utopia. What have you accomplished in the sport of Wakeboarding? things like this will determin what kind of sponsership you will get.

I'll wait for companies to see my demo before I give you the link but I can show my part of winter 2006 snowboarding. It doesn't deserve sponsorship but I did it for fun. http://207.139.55.193/part2006.htm

The packet will usually contain a contract to sign which will indicate your "ride" level usually A, B, or C ride, A - being the best! A catalog, some stickers and an order form for your first purchase. Good Luck and Congrats...by the way, you should represent a company because you truly like their product or the way in which the co. treats their customer's, not just because you are getting a good deal on the stuff...it will take you farther Have fun

Most company have an email adress where you can shoot a link to your demo and a resume of you. Another way is to talk with the rep of the company in your area.

I signed up at Sponsorhouse and I got a message from Utopia today and they said they wanted to sponsor me as well. They gave me a contract to look over, sign and then they would get my address and mail me my rider packet. I'm not exactly sure what it is, but sounds cool. I'm assuming that if someone was to sign with a company like this, they wouldnt be allowed to wear any other kind of eyewear brand. So all the glasses I have now, I wouldn't be able to wear.... I need to read all the fine print though before I decide. Is anyone else on WW sponsored by Utopia? Jamie

Jamie that would be the case, atleast you wouldn't be able to wear any other eye wear during photo's and what not. But free sunnies and good ones at that, hey, I wouldn't say no. but yeah girl thats rocks! J-P: dude thats some sick snowboarding there.
