I usually just winterize the boat completely as it starts to freeze because my family is done when the sun is gone, but i recently met some riders in my area that are open to riding in the winter. I usually take a few cold sets every winter, but if they are wanting to ride I would like to get on the water when I can. The problem is my boat is only parked under cover so I still need to protect against freezing. Is there a way to properly drain everything but still have it ready to put in the water? Any detailed advice would be greatly appreciated. I pretty much take it to the shop for everything. and I've already learned the hard lesson of not winterizing on my previous boat so I am a bit aprehensive to not properly winterizing...

there is a quick drain kit you can add to the engine. flip some valves and you're done. Have the shop put it on if you're not crazy about doing it yourself, but it looks super easy.

THe manual way of doing it isn't bad either. usually a plug in either side of the block. 2 for exhaust manifolds. and one for J tube in front of the engine. plus heater, shower or whatever else you've got. what engine?
