yeah baseplate is another inch shorter they are now six inch plates not seven inch. i believe also that all the boards are running the 3 hole pattern now.

as for sovens, they don't look too tie-die-ish. But they look perfect for a representative for McD's that i know of. The adjustable height thing must be that the velcro slides up and down the back of the boot on some track system... what is to say they wont slip down after a while? just guessing here

There are still just two bolts holding the bindings to the board, just 3 positions on each side instead of 4 like they have been using. It's not the 4-hole pattern that slingshot uses.

The Shanes would be cooler if they stuck with two colors. Just blue and black, maybe with an accent color of white or gray, but as they sit, there are too many colors going on for me. The Sovens look pretty good.

Have patience fellas. LF has been killing it with boots lately. I have no reason to believe they will take a step backwards.

looks like LF took a nike 6.0 shoe to the ronix boot factory. look at the open toe boot, just like a ronix open toe boot, and the baseplate, just like ronix. they've lost that "lf look" to them.

I heard hyperlite has the reebok pump in thier boots...funny that picture was posted.

How about some Crocs wakeboard bindings? that would be sweet!

i actually like the shane closed toes, though i like the graphics on the melissa board/bindings more i think.

i think liquid force finally realized that their bindings were too heavy. The material just looks thinner to me like the ronix bindings, i bet the 09 stuff is gonna be out of this world. Not diggin shanes lame taste in colors, even though the open toe colors look sweet

Looks like a dayum good reason for me to keep my 07 shane's. Best boots i've ever worn. It may be the color choices or something that's makin me feel this way...but do all the boots look kind of "cheap"? as in not very durable.

By the way....please tell me this is all the "limited" stuff and not the regular 09 gear! if its the regular stuff it looks like the guys at LF decided to take the "limited" gear and make it the "regular" line...

Man I'm having flash backs. I thought this era was over. Back in the day I rocked a baby blue and hot pink Kidder water skis jacket with matching gear bag and Oakley blades to boot! I just cant see myself rocking the neon colors again.

all i have to say is that i hope they have completely exhausted themselves making these products durable/lighter/more comfortable/etc... before they start talking about how the hot pink is going to compliment the magenta and turqoiuse and really "pop" out in photos...what I am saying is i hope they put as much money into R and D as they did trying to copy Nikes 2006 shoe line. atleast nothing has any of those •••••• "all-over" prints that look like kids pajamas. wow, i actually had alot to say. sorry.

Bindings are looking more and more comfy every year, and they also look more integrated every year as far as the construction. I am surprised this didn't happen sooner in the industry.

ahhh it always happens wake always bites the snow industry. i do have to say the dunk like toe on that first closed to pic looks amazing. finally someone got it right. it took like 4 years.

People! this almost exact argument happened last year with the LTD Shanes. These new boots are sweet the colors are out there but hey thats what this sport is all about! the amount of people that said they hated the LTD Shanes last year and then got them i think LF will have no problem with these which I think are so much better looking than last years. My 2cents

i do have to say not a fan of the colors though.

ps If the bindings are as comfy as the Shanes in the past these will have no problem selling!

new watson is only new graphics to start off with same shape as last years. there will be a completely new shape april or may next year for the start of next season.

Except when those somehow, shockingly, they come back into fashion. I don't care if it's clothes, shoes, wakeboards, home furnishings, give me something clean, classic, that never goes out of style. To each their own, but the only reason I see to buy the latest fashion is to have something to laugh at when you flip through photos.
