looking for any tips on some stuff to try on the wakesurfer. I'd like to try a body varial but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Any tips? I have a 5'6" broadcast and a 4'6" lf skimskate.

Can you ride backside switch? That would be the first fundamental to master. Also, practice on a skateboard first. Getting your foot placement correct is the next step and FINALLY...getting enough air to allow you to rotate. You have to go STRAIGHT UP and tuck your legs.

Get pic's for us.

I've got switch down, I'm wondering, when I try to jump, do I lead with my back foot and have my lead foot come off last? Cause I'm thinking if I do it the other way the board will pop, like an ollie, right? I'm trying to figure out how to initiate the jump without burrying the nose and without the board popping up. Also, will it be easier with the 5'6" then the 4'6"?

Biggest board you can find to learn the trick. If you do the body varial like Josh Sleigh, you can do the varial as part of the air...but for us mortal folks :-) you'll want to keep the board flat and even, which dictates both feet at the same time. So you go UP (both feet simultaneously) and then use your upper body to do the rotation.
