If anyone uses that launch regularly, launch as close to the dock as possible! On Saturday morning, we decided to back next to a trailer since there was plenty of room. Bad idea. I backed the boat off and when my friend went to drive out, I literally watched the trailer disappear. Apparently, part of the ramp eroded over the winter and is now a 2' drop off. Luckily, a guy with a big winch was able to drag it out. After an hour and mangled fender, we were on our way but like I said, stay as close to the dock as you can!

Wow that sucks! I will remember that when we launch there. We use that ramp a lot.

I just remembered that you posted up a story about refinishing your boat and trailer. I would be really P.O. after going through all your hard work.

Well, it was still better than a day at work but yeah, I was heated. A good hammer will get most of the fender back into shape. I think the only other option would be to cut it and weld a new one.

Fatsac just head over the bridge and launch on the Yolo side.
