Liquid Force Balance

A friend of mine is looking to buy a new Liquid Force board that is close to the old LF Balance. What should I tell him

Ive roode the balance a little. Good board. Decent landings, great edge hold and tracking, but short fin base so it breaks loose well, fast, good pop.

I would think that maybe the new Trip would be similar. I'm pretty sure that Gregg Necrason based the Balance design on the original Trip shape. I rode a 135 Balance for a couple of seasons and really liked it. Fast on edge but easy to break loose.

Jarrod if he really loved the balance i'm pretty sure liquid force sold the mold to freemotion. so he could get that exact board if he liked?

I switched from a balance to a marius and love the marius.

I rode the Balance alot and went to a Watson. The Watson has more pop, softer landings, and more forgiving on the spins.
