Can anyone tell me how the "removeable jib ribs" attach the this board? When they are not in place, does it look as though something is missing?

Thanks,

Stu

they use screws. Yes you can tell they are gone when they aren't on the board and yes it changes the ride of the board a bit.

Like Rob said, they attach with screws. There are little notches in the board where they mount. To me the board rides like a normal board without them, you can tell if you look, but most hardly notice they're gone. I ride without them. I think they got rid of them for 08.

I ride them on my 06 because it's my slider board...but i ride without them on my 07 which sees nothing but boat time...

Without is easier to play on the wake, (board/lipslides) and a little faster but its not terribly different.

yeah, i ride the 06 without em, and you cant tell a difference with em gone. It's pretty stealthy. and i belive they have paint under there so it really doesnt look like alots gone. just some grooves

I ride my 2006 without the ribs. I would say take them out unless you plan on hitting some rails. I may just leave them out then as well.
