I recently got back into wakeboarding and messed up and got a kinky 35 dollar rope on Amazon. It lasted like 5 trips onto the water and now the grip is loose and rotates which make it very difficult to hold on.

Don't want to break the bank but I do want a rope that will last with a nice big handle and mainline that won't stretch.

Also what length do y'all normally ride at? I feel like I'm riding at like 45ft and it's really taking away from my airtime.

What y'all recommend?

We used to use Kwik Tek AIRHEAD wakeboard rope from Amazon but the ends of the handle slowly detached itself leaving the handle loose and bending weird. I found a Ronix rope used on craigslist for $30 in great shape. It's a 65' line and handle and we really like it. Has an amazing grip to it the only downside is the exterior of the rope is a bit fragile. I'd say check craigslist for a used set if you're on a budget.

Blemboard has a lot of Follow rope/handle combo's for $99. It's not a bad deal but I'm sure you can find some clearance Proline/Accurate combo's as well on some of the other sites.

Been using a Humanoid Pull Teamster handle and Lenok mainline for a while. It's been great. I think when I got the handle on sale it was only ~ $25

If you can get your hands on one, Follow makes some of the best rope/handle combos out there. They put more thought into how the handle feels in your hands than most.

I've also got the Langfield package but I like how the ATS is more narrow. (small hands)

What type of boat, what weight and what speed? 45' could be right on an IO if the wake is curling at 48'. Or maybe you should be at 60', depends on the boat.

+1 for Follow ropes/handles. Ordered the Beacon package on blemboards this year and love it so far after years and years of using only Proline LG handles.
