Looking for anyone that lives in the area or on the lake. Possibility of moving into this area.

Also are there any other lakes to look at around Amarillo? At one time I remember someone telling me about some private lake in town.

THX

We are at Lake Tanglewood a lot, but spend quite a bit of time at Ute Lake as well. I hear you can still get on Lake Meredith but it scares me being that low. The only private lake around Amarillo is Lake Tanglewood.

We are looking at Tanglewood community. I'll look up Ute Lake too. Do you ever get good smooth water?

Wow, going from the endless butter of the Trinity to puddles of water in NW Texas and that cold wind.

Buffalo Springs Lake is in Lubbock Tx. It is an hour and a half away, but a little closer than Ute would be. We have a pretty good wake community in Lubbock and are always stoked to have people that are new to West Texas out to shred. The wind can definitely be rough at times, but we get quite a few butter sets. Pretty much everyday is rideable. Just have to choose the right shoreline to hug.

I have a house at Tanglewood. It's a small lake and can get rough, but you can get good water if willing to get up early. PM me your number if you want more details.
